Arts Management Bachelor Degree Programs – Our new Bachelor of Arts in Baking and Pastry Management program prepares you for an exciting career in the growing baking and pastry industry! With our long tradition of excellence in culinary and hospitality education, SUNY is the perfect place to train to become a trained pastry chef or bakery owner.
The degree program expands on the technical skills acquired at the associate level and dives deeper into the baking and pastry industry. You will develop the leadership and management skills to oversee the business side of the pastry industry, such as financial operations and management tasks. Our program is the only one in New York State that offers the option to complete the last two years entirely online.

Alain Zedrick Camiling (he/she) is an educator, art writer and curator based in Manila, Philippines. He is currently the Chair of the Arts Management Program at the De La Salle College of Manila St. Benilde, where he co-authored his BA Arts Management curriculum in 2018. His current research focuses on the production, dissemination and practice of knowledge on Arts Management in the Philippines.
Robert Wildman (he/she), an associate professor at Winthrop University, has also taught at the UNC School of the Arts, LIU Post, Goucher College, and the Yale School of Drama. Robert was Managing Director of Connecticut Repertory Theater and Press and Marketing Director at Yale Repertory and Long Wharf Theatres.
Ursula Kuhar joined the faculty at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in August 2016. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on performing arts organizations, leadership and organizational behavior, and arts education. He is the founding director of the O’Neill study abroad program in Israel.

The arts administration internship is completed in course 499, usually in the student’s senior year. UNCG offers many opportunities to gain professional experience in arts administration on campus and in the community to build your network. Your arts administration experience will include an internship with a professional arts organization to make connections and gain tangible work experience. Students and faculty collaborate to find the right internship for students based on their area of interest and required areas of experience and potential for growth.

UNCG’s Faculty of Arts Administration and Career Services supports students in finding school and summer jobs, internships and job searches after graduation. The Arts Management program offers a combination of core management subjects specifically designed to cover a wide range of topics in the arts, including political art, financial management, management and the arts, arts event management, marketing and organizational management.
