Associate Degree In Nursing California – The College Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program was established in 1957. It is one of five original nursing education programs established in the state of California. At the end of five years, it was evident that nursing education could be offered in colleges. The college, along with four other colleges, received state accreditation. Twenty students were accepted in the first class, and eleven graduated in 1959 with nursing assistant degrees. has graduated more than 2,000 students with an Associate Degree in Nursing, which allows students to sit for the licensure exam to become an RN.
