Bachelor Of Social Work Programs – As a member of the First Nations Adult Education and Higher Education Consortium (FNAHEC), Yellowhead Tribal College offers a Bachelor of Social Work degree that applies Indigenous knowledge and pedagogy to the social work practice. Graduates of this program are qualified for employment in all fields of social work at the provincial, national and international levels.
The program is accredited by the National Aboriginal Accreditation Board (NIAB) and certified by an agreement signed on October 25, 2019 with the Canadian Association for Social Work Education.
Bachelor Of Social Work Programs
The YTC IBSW program is a full-time program delivered through a study circle model. Classes are held on Friday evenings from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and all day on Saturdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This delivery format allows employed and full-time students to complete the program in two years (20 months).

The Indigenous Bachelor of Social Work is cohort-based, so we admit cohorts of students every two years. The next use will be in the fall of 2023.
