Best Schools For Psychology Masters

Best Schools For Psychology Masters – I am pleased to present this guide to you for the upcoming fall semester and our plans for the reopening of our campus. In form and content, this upcoming semester will be unlike any other. We will live differently, work differently and learn differently. But its great strength lies in its difference.

The mission of Yeshiva University is to enrich the moral, intellectual and spiritual development of each of our students, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to become influencers and leaders of tomorrow. Next year’s study will be particularly useful in shaping the course of our students’ lives. Character is formed and developed in deep adversity. This is the teachable moment for which Yeshiva University was created. So we’ve created a curriculum for next year that embraces a high-quality student experience and prioritizes personal growth in this coronavirus era. Our students will be able to navigate the challenges, issues and opportunities that our Covid-19 era has brought with our stellar rabbis and professors, as well as their close friends and Yeshiva colleagues.

To develop our fall program, we created a scenario planning task force comprised of representatives from various core areas of our campus. Their programs are guided by the latest medical information, government guidelines, direct input from our rabbis, faculty and students, and best practices from industry and university leaders across the country. I am deeply grateful to the members of our task force and all those who supported them for their tireless work to resolve the myriad details of bringing students back to campus and restarting our educational initiatives.

Along with the recommendations of our task force, I am announcing today that our fall semester will reflect a hybrid model. It will allow many students to return to caution by combining online and virtual learning with classroom learning on campus. It also enables students who choose not to live on campus to have a rich student experience by continuing their studies online and accessing online student services and extracurricular programs.

When it comes to bringing our students back to campus, safety is our top priority. Many aspects of campus life will change this coming semester. Meetings will be limited, the main courses will be moved completely online. Everyone on campus must follow our medical guidelines, including social distancing, wearing masks, and our testing and contact tracing policies. Because of our focus on risk mitigation, our graduate students will begin the first few weeks of the fall semester online and move to campus after the Jewish holiday. This schedule will limit the amount of back and forth travel for our students by concentrating the on-campus component of the fall semester into one continuous section.

Throughout our plan, we’ve used the analogy of a dimmer switch. Reopening our campuses will not be a simple binary like an on/off light switch, but more like a dark one where we have the flexibility to go back and forth and respond accordingly as our health situation evolves. It is possible that some programs may change depending on the progress of the virus and/or applicable state and local government guidelines.

Before our semester begins, we will provide further updates that reflect our most current guidelines. Please check our website, /fall2020, for regular updates. We understand that you may have many additional questions after reading this guide, so we will also post an extensive FAQ section online. In addition, we will be hosting community calls for faculty, students, staff, and parents over the next few months.

Planning for the future should be humbling at this point. This coronavirus has repeatedly reminded us of the teachings of the Jewish tradition that we are not completely in control of our circumstances. But our traditions teach us that we are in control of our reactions to our situations. The next semester will present significant challenges and changes. There will be some compromises and minor inconveniences. not every problem has a perfect solution. But faith and perseverance, mutual cooperation and endurance are important life lessons that are expressed during this period. And if we all commit to responding with compassion, kindness, and love, we can turn the new campus reality into profound life lessons for our future.

Deeply rooted in our Jewish values and focused on preparing for future careers and skills, we navigate these uncharted waters with you, our Yeshiva campus community. Next year will be a formative year in the lives of our students, and together we will rise to the occasion so that our students can be stronger and better prepared to be the global leaders of tomorrow.
