May 27, 2021 – For its first academic year, the National Sports Academy (NAS) will offer full high school scholarships to talented Filipino student-athletes.

Established by Republic Act no. 11470, NAS is institutionalized for the recognition and development of exceptionally gifted students from all sectors, including indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities and other marginalized groups. By law, the NAS system is an affiliated body in close cooperation with the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).
