Learners analyze basic software and technical problems and develop a good programming style and logical thinking to write structured instructions that solve these problems. This course provides hands-on experience working with open system servers using both text and graphical user interfaces. Focuses on activities such as installing and configuring servers, connecting and communicating over networks, file management, setting file and directory paths, executing basic Unix/Linux commands, as well as covering shell basics, system security basics. and firewalls.

Learners will acquire the skills necessary to perform administrative tasks in the Microsoft Windows Server operating system.
