The curriculum for MS in CIS countries is divided into three parts: Core courses (9 credits), thesis or special project (6 credits), and electives (5 courses or 15 credits). In terms of electives, the student will choose from 11 courses covering advanced cybersecurity and cyber intelligence, each with science, technology and laboratory components. Students will be advised to work with partner organizations in the private and public sectors on relevant topics during their studies. Dissertations and special projects drawn from current academic and industrial topics will enrich the program. Assuming a typical course load of 9 credits per semester, students will complete 30 credits of required coursework, special projects, or MS thesis in 18-24 months.

A large part of the course is an individual project. It allows you to apply your professional knowledge, problem solving, management and communication skills to a specific area of interest in cyber security. Working with the full support and guidance of an assigned project manager, you will propose, plan, define, develop, evaluate and deliver a critical project.
In the project phase, you will first conduct a project analysis. As well as attending some workshops, you will have regular weekly meetings with the project manager to discuss progress and consult.
The overall structure of the course consists of two terms of lecture modules followed by a term of project modules. Term1 and Term2 each consist of 10 weeks. Each semester consists of 4 taught modules. Each module usually consists of 2 hours of lecture and 2 hours of laboratory per week. Part-time students take only 2 modules per semester.
* For students completing the internship, the duration of the course will be extended by the length of the placement.

Throughout the course, content is complemented by practical work, allowing you to support your theoretical development with real-world simulation. You will be taught through a mixture of lectures, laboratories and external speakers. They will also support you through your online virtual learning environment where you can access a variety of resources and other support materials.
A large part of this course is supported by independent study and you will be expected to take responsibility for managing your coursework, reading and other academic activities appropriately.
