We wanted to create industry related courses. Not only on the theoretical part, but also on how to do it in real life. Preparing students for life was very important to us.

So for us, collaboration is about doing the right thing. It’s about working with great students. This is to ensure that the industry has a broad platform as we move forward. And if we can play a part in that, that’s something we’re very proud of.

The project we did this semester was amazing for the product development students. The students developed their ranges with durable features for children to wear exactly what they envisioned. It is simply outstanding. We were very excited to see all of their progress during their three visits.

We have envisioned a final limit for the collection we have planned. And it was wonderful to get their feedback along the way. So each other’s presentations, they gave us advice, what went well, what we could maybe work on, and that really helped us improve our final work.

It gives us a glimpse of what it’s like to work in the industry. Today is actually my first day here. And it’s exciting at the same time nervous.

The highlight for me so far has been seeing the new direction the students are taking, all the fine little details they’ve given and how they embrace sustainability as part of the whole process, it’s been really incredible.

Hello, my name is Erin and I am studying a Bachelor in Fashion (Business). So when I was very young, my nanny taught me to sew and knit. And this is what really interests me in fashion. And then as I got older, I got interested in design, I still love sewing. But I began to realize how important the business side of fashion is as well. So the more I learned, the more I realized how many different opportunities there are in the fashion industry. And that’s why this course really impressed me.

It’s a little different studying online than on campus. But I am very grateful to the tutors whenever I had a little problem or lack of understanding in any subject they were willing to attend a team meeting so that we could discuss whatever help we needed.

I think what’s a bit difficult for me is that there are so many different areas of fashion. That’s why we love marketing and branding. And then it also has a lot to do with the products. Going from one to the other is therefore a great opportunity to learn a lot about many different things. It’s definitely a challenge, but a good challenge.

I feel like this course is really going to prepare me for the job, because in the industry we will be doing things like planning lineups, researching target clients and working for brands. So that’s something that I feel when I come into the industry and get a job, I feel very well prepared and very confident.
