HubSpot CRM’s built-in tools give each of your customers an extra personal touch, and the WYSIWYG drag-and-drop editor is easy to use. Personalized sign-in experiences are one of the best things about working with a CRM-based marketing platform like HubSpot. So I wrote this post for you because I’ve been working on email templates recently and I thought it might be useful to share. Perhaps you already have HubSpot or are thinking of upgrading your marketing to HubSpot. Anyway, I hope this article is helpful. How to create an email in HubSpot CRM The first thing you need to do is log into the Hubspot portal and look for the email tool in Marketing Hub: Marketing > Email. From there, find and click on the orange Create Email box in the upper-right corner of the screen. How to edit your email design and content in HubSpot Any element you want to add to your template by dragging and dropping dropping it into the email editor on the right. Once in the editor, you can click on it to change the content using the edit icon. You can also copy the component by clicking the clone icon or delete the component by selecting the trash can icon. You can customize the design of each element by clicking on the design tab at the top of the left panel. From the drop-down menu, you can change details such as: Font size, color, and style Background color and pattern Border spacing 3. How to add your company logo to your HubSpot email template Click the “Logo” placeholder Company” to add your company logo. Select Change in the top left panel and upload your custom company logo. A pop-up box will appear. Depending on where your logo is saved, you can either drag and drop the file or go to Add Image > Upload Files or Add Image > From URL. 4. How to Personalize HubSpot Emails Using Your CRM To add that personal touch to your email, you’ll need to add a personalization tag in the body of the email. Click on the email editor text box to activate the editor. In the formatting bar at the top, click Customize. A pop-up box will appear. Click the Type drop-down menu and select which record the icon comes from: Signature Type Company Office Contact Location You’ll see a list of values below that you can use to customize your email. Choose which property value to add to the email body. Enter a default value for all contacts in your CRM that don’t have a value stored for this property. Click Insert to add the icon to your text. 5. Save a HubSpot marketing email as a template If you’d like to save an email template for future use, go to Actions > Save Email As Template in the upper-right corner of the screen. Please note: this feature is only available if you have the professional version of HubSpot 6. Changing HubSpot Marketing Email Settings To change email settings such as ‘name’, ‘from address’, ‘ subject line’ and ‘preview text’, click on Settings in the toolbar above. You can add personalization to these elements if you wish. 7. How to send your HubSpot marketing email Once you’ve completed your email, navigate to the Send tab on the top toolbar. Select your recipient list. On the right, select Send email now or Schedule later to send at a different date and time. That’s it! Too easy. Your email is on its way.
