You will take a number of elective module courses in economic theory (differences between macroeconomics, microeconomics and international trade), quantitative methods (ie econometrics) and development economics. The themes change from year to year. In recent years, modules have included agriculture, political economy and include topics such as institutions, globalization, macroeconomics, risk and microfinance.Students typically follow four or five of the eight modules offered.
