HTML is one of the most popular skills in my marketing skills survey since the beginning of the year.
My comments and the experts I interviewed agreed that to survive in 2017 and beyond, knowing HTML is key.
In marketing jobs, only 20% of companies required HTML, but in design jobs, more than 30% did.

I think it’s safe to say that your resume or portfolio should include an example of each skill above.

This type of experience is not seen in other jobs, with the big box marketing jobs I’ve previously studied for people with little experience.
But the good news is that the smaller the company, the more likely you are to be hired with some experience. Because about half of all companies that have not clearly indicated that they need experience under 200 employees.

So, even if you only have a little experience, but you have a great degree, you can get a job!

That’s why I think it’s important to get this experience while you’re in college or another job.
