The UNH Master of Science in National Security Intelligence Analysis provides the skills necessary to succeed in the government, business or nonprofit sector. The UNH Master of Science degree in National Security Intelligence Analysis (NSIA) is a full 30-credit program designed to be completed in one calendar year or more if part-time. NSIA courses will give you the knowledge and context you need to become an analyst. Our primary educational goal for students is an in-depth understanding of the intelligence process, current national security issues, strategies, and policies of the United States and abroad. We make extensive use of case studies and experiential learning in the curriculum. Our second and third educational goals are critical thinking and character training. We provide you with the tools to analyze threats and understand their root cause from a qualitative and quantitative perspective.

The Master of Science in National Security Intelligence Analysis is offered with two intakes per academic year. Students can choose to register in August or January each year. Students must complete 30 credits including 10 courses. Full-time students can complete the degree in 12 months by taking 2 courses in each of 5 terms per calendar year. Part-time students can complete the program in 24 months, taking one course per semester. For undergraduate students, this program is available as an accelerated master’s program.
