Outer Banks Oceanfront Rentals

Nags Head is one of the largest towns on the Outer Banks, with a population that includes locals and visitors. While other cities on the Outer Banks have stricter laws, Nags Head’s dog laws are relatively relaxed.

Leashed dogs are allowed on the beaches at all times. There are no leash length requirements, but dog owners must clean up after their animals at all times and place waste in the correct litter box.

In addition to the beach, Nags Head has several multi-use trails and a dog park. Nags Head Dog Park is located at 227 West Satterfield Landing Road, and parking is available.
