: If you are an international graduate applicant, check out a short list of bachelor’s degree equivalents by country. Every applicant who passes the initial admissions assessment is invited to a structured virtual interview. The applicant will answer at least four questions that assess the basic competencies necessary for success in the MSIOP program. The interview also gives the selection committee the opportunity to get to know each candidate a little better because they gain information about them that cannot be inferred from a written application.
Using a holistic admissions review process, faculty carefully consider completed application packages (and interview performance) because every component of the application is important. Holistic acceptance also allows strengths in some areas to compensate for weaknesses in others. Admission to the MSIOP program is based on the applicant’s academic record, test scores, relevant research and applied experiences, and relevant skills and achievements that demonstrate potential for excellence.
