Colin Barbero is a trained political scientist and program evaluator. He currently works as a health scientist on the Applied and Translational Research Team in the Division of Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Lindsey K. Cloud is director of the Policy Monitoring Program at the Center for Public Health Law Research (CPHLR) at Temple University Beasley School of Law. Her work focuses on the intersection of law and public health. She has overseen the creation of large-scale public health law research projects ranging from legal epidemiology to scientific analysis and tracking of state, local, and international policy in a variety of public health law areas, including reproductive rights regulation, affordable housing, minimum wages, and Income Tax Credit Guidelines for Merit, Civil Liability, and Pre-Approval for Pediatric ADHD Medications. Lance Gable is an associate professor of law at Wayne State University School of Law. Siobhan Gilchrist, JD, MPH, IHRC Inc. Since 2010, he has provided legal epidemiology and policy research and translational expertise to the Applied and Translational Research Team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention. He helped expand the DHDSP guideline research suite from a single policy tracking database to a comprehensive suite of products, including a new methodology for synthesizing, evaluating, and translating the evidence base for public health policy. She conducts state and local legislative monitoring to analyze legislative trends that reflect the adoption of evidence-based practices and policies. He also works on policy implementation and evaluation studies to understand the barriers stakeholders and intermediaries face in implementing state laws and the health impacts of state laws. Her policy areas of focus include the work of health professionals, nurses and pharmacists, stroke care systems, and other policy issues related to cardiovascular health. She is a Georgia attorney, received her law degree from Georgia State University School of Law and her MPH from Emory University School of Public Health. As an attorney, she represented clients of a small law firm focusing on environmental, zoning, and private property interests, and represented victims of domestic violence and other clients in civil litigation on an unlicensed basis. He also has extensive public health experience as an epidemiologist for the Georgia Department of Public Health, the DeKalb County Board of Health and the former CDC Office of Epidemiology Program.

Ms. Saxon joined the Center in 2011 as Director of Communications for the RWJF Public Health Law Research Program.
