While editing the report in Report Builder, find the column for which you want to count unique values.
What Are Salesforce Campaigns?
The number of unique values for the entire report and subtotals for each group are displayed as a grand total.
This report uses the “Activities with Contacts” report type and has a filter with an Activity Name equal to (Virtual Activity Activity).
The unique count of an account can be extracted by selecting the Show unique count option for the Account column.
Running this report lets you view the total count of records (number of contacts) and unique accounts (number of accounts involved in activity).
Salesforce Campaigns Can Make Your Marketing Smarter
A Campaign Member object in Salesforce represents a relationship between a Campaign and a Lead or Contact. While there are some standard Lead and Contact fields available for the Campaign Member objects, if you want to view or pull reports for custom fields, you’ll need to create a new field.
Create a formula field on the Campaign Member object that will check whether the Campaign Member is a Lead or a Contact and populate the field with the custom field value.
You can add new custom fields to the Activity Members related list by navigating to the Activity object in Activity Manager and selecting your page layout. Scroll down to the Campaign Members related list and click the wrench icon to select your region.
Did you know that you can create a calendar from any custom object in Salesforce without using an app? Yes, this also applies to living things. While there are some limitations to using this feature, it’s a great way to view all of your activity in Activity View without having to purchase an app from the Salesforce App Exchange.
Create Salesforce Campaign And Add Campaign Members
Name your calendar and select a start date (required) and an end date (optional). You can use the standard Salesforce activity fields for the start and end dates, or you can choose custom fields. For example, if you have a “Go Live” date field, you can use that as the start date.
You also have the option of adding filters to the calendar. Filter should be a ListView using the active object. For example, if you want to have a separate event calendar for webinars, your list view should look like this.
To change the color of the events shown in the calendar, click the gear icon next to the calendar name.
There is one major limitation when using this feature…you cannot share calendars without using the API. To use this feature each user has to create their own calendar. Having said that, it is an open idea to allow sharing through the UI.

The Spot from Pardot newsletter delivers a healthy dose of marketing technology to your inbox – and nothing else. The integration will create a Campaign Monitor activity record in Salesforce. These records can be accessed through the CM Activities tab. After clicking on the Campaigns tab, you will see the below screen.
The Campaign Details page provides static details such as the sender of the email, the labels used, and the subject line. It also has some statistics. The buttons at the top quickly take you to predefined Salesforce reports filtered at the campaign level.
In Lists and Segments, you can view a list of members who have sent activity. Just below that is a link to Salesforce Activity (optional). Finally, the page displays a world map with no interactions.

Activity Snapshot The Activity Snapshot screen allows direct access to Campaign Monitor’s own reports without leaving Salesforce.
Active email tracking history is displayed on this page. This allows you to see how your recipients are interacting with the campaign. The data is updated every time the main sync runs (usually every hour). You can also refresh the email tracking history for this activity by clicking the Refresh button in the upper right corner.
Using Salesforce Activities is optional, as the functionality is mostly duplicated in Campaign Monitor. However, the integration allows you to use Salesforce Campaigns in several ways:

This process works by creating Salesforce activities when the sent Campaign Monitor activities are synced with Salesforce. Additionally, both the records will be linked. Salesforce Activity has an Activity Monitor section that will be populated with statistics. Finally, we will try to create Salesforce campaign members from Campaign Monitor campaign customers.

As mentioned above, you can use the Salesforce Campaign Member status. For example, if someone receives an email and then opens it with this feature enabled, we can update the Salesforce campaign member status.

How To Manage Your Campaigns In Salesforce And Pardot
The integration only creates Campaign Monitor activities in Salesforce when they are actually sent. Depending on your sync settings, it can take up to an hour (by default) for a campaign to be sent to appear in Salesforce. This setting is not retroactive, events will not be created until this setting is enabled.
The best way to add Salesforce records to Campaign Monitor is through our Import Wizard. But you can manually add Salesforce campaign members directly from the related list.
When you link a campaign between Salesforce and Campaign Monitor, any email subscribers in the sent campaign are automatically linked to the Salesforce campaign. In Salesforce Classic, users can send bulk emails to leads, contacts, and campaign members using a feature called Send Bulk Email, but this feature is not available in Lightning Experience. When you email a group of people using list email, it will be sent as individual emails to the recipients, not as a group email with multiple recipients. The main purpose of list email is to simplify business processes, not to replace existing email applications or handle large scale marketing campaigns. The Send List Email action is available in the Contextual List View section. Users can use the “Send List Email” action in their List View section. So they can easily select the Lead record or Contact record as per their idea.
List emails are nothing more than mass emails. In the Winter ’18 release, Salesforce included some additional features in Lightning to enhance emailing capabilities at scale. To differentiate these features, they renamed “Mass Email” to “List Mail” because of the additional features only available in Lightning.
