Our consulting program is conducted primarily online via an asynchronous course, meaning you work independently throughout the week and enjoy the structure provided by regular deadlines.

Two required residencies (Group Counseling and Counseling Skills) provide important opportunities to engage with faculty and peers. To qualify for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status in the state of Pennsylvania, you must successfully complete 60 semester hours of graduate courses that meet the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) curriculum requirements.

Our curriculum has been developed in accordance with the core course requirements proposed by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Allied Education Programs (CACREP), although Gwynedd’s program is not currently accredited by CACREP.
