Through field experience in a licensure setting (pre-K–3, MCE or AYA-Secondary), students in this course learn how to evaluate intervention strategies and develop classroom management plans that make sense to students in their classrooms. Content will include strategies for parent/professional collaboration. The information provided allows participants to implement immediate strategies in a variety of school, mental health, and human service settings and gain familiarity with students’ social, behavioral, and academic needs in key areas. This course has ten (10) hours of fieldwork embedded within the course.
