Wallpaper Ideas Living Room Feature Wall – Custom wall design is all about using a part of your home to show off some of your character while creating a beautiful aesthetic, whether you choose to create your own with paint, wallpaper, tile or art. Here we share seven wall ideas to update your home.
If you’re looking for ideas for bedroom walls, consider using statement wallpaper. A bold design hanging on one wall will add interest to the decor without covering the entire room. When choosing wallpaper for a feature wall, remember the main function of the bedroom. The space should remain calm, wherever you want to retreat, so if you want to choose a bold and busy pattern, try to choose one in a monochromatic palette or choose a more subtle pattern. Feature walls should have dramatic colors or patterns, as the contrast between different materials can be impressive. For example, a bright white tile can create an interesting accent on a neutral wall without feeling too bold or bold. This feature wall idea works especially well in a bathroom or kitchen where adding tiles also works because it creates an easy-to-clean surface.

Large-scale wallpaper paintings cover the entire height of the wall and make a real impact when used to create an accent wall. Today there are many different designs, from art-inspired landscapes to lush plants. We recommend trying Cole & Son, Little Green or De Gurney.
A wonderful wall idea for those who don’t want to hang wallpaper or paint the walls, a gallery wall brings life and color to a room. Choose coordinating pieces from the same artist or collection or mix and match for an eclectic look – your choice!

One of my favorite wall color ideas is a two tone wall. Choose two colors, from the same family or a complementary pair, and use them horizontally to separate the walls. If you split the wall in half, or use existing architectural features like picture frames as your guide, be sure to use bright colors above to make the room feel larger.
Creating a feature wall doesn’t require ceiling-to-floor painting or hanging wallpaper. For a more subtle look, try using intricate wallpaper designs and placing them around existing architectural details, such as under wall panels or tile rails. For a sophisticated scheme, choose a design in the same tone as your wall color.

Make the most of a corner or alcove by painting it a different color than the rest of the room. An effective idea for wall painting, choosing a light and bright color such as yellow or orange will give new life to the room and create a pleasant atmosphere.
